The Moscow and Sochi educational tour gives students the opportunity to experience the contrast between a major Russian capital and a Black Sea mountain destination. Moscow offers learning in history, architecture, transportation and urban planning, while Sochi provides exposure to coastal geography, the Black Sea environment, the Caucasus Mountains and tourism infrastructure. The combination creates a multidisciplinary learning experience covering geography, environmental studies, architecture, tourism and Russian culture.

Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Moscow & Orientation
Students arrive in Moscow and attend an orientation introducing them to Russia's geography, history, architecture and modern urban development. Selected city areas can be explored as part of an introductory educational walk.
Day 2 - Moscow Historical Heritage
Students visit Red Square and selected historical landmarks. The programme focuses on Russian history, architecture and heritage conservation, supported by guided interpretation and student observation activities.
Day 3 - Moscow Metro & Urban Planning
Students explore selected Moscow Metro stations and study public transportation, engineering, station architecture and urban mobility. Students can complete an urban-planning observation assignment during the visit.
Day 4 - Moscow to Sochi
Students travel to Sochi and observe changes in the geographical landscape during the journey. After arrival, students receive an orientation to Sochi as a Black Sea coastal city and tourism destination.
Day 5 - Black Sea & Sochi
Students explore the Black Sea coastline and study coastal geography, marine environments, tourism infrastructure and urban development. The programme can also include selected areas associated with Sochi's sports and tourism infrastructure.
Day 6 - Krasnaya Polyana & Mountain Ecology
Students visit Krasnaya Polyana and explore the Caucasus mountain environment. The educational programme focuses on mountain geography, vegetation, tourism development, adventure infrastructure and environmental conservation.
Day 7 - Review & Departure
Students compare the urban, coastal and mountain environments experienced during the tour. A final group discussion connects geography, tourism, infrastructure and environmental learning before departure.
